Rachet and Clank--Completed

I finished the game!!!!

Actually I finished it last night, but it was getting late and I had to go to bed. Of course that doesn't mean the game is over. I still have to get the Golden Weapons and most of the Skill Points (I got a few during the first play through)

I started a new game with all my weapons, but I didn't get to keep my gadgets :( I suppose that makes sense though. After all, a lot of the game revolves around getting the gadgets. I plan on getting the Golden Weapons and Skill points, but they aren't a priority. I am moving them to the Long Term Goals section. Now I just need to figure out what the new Console game will be.


On a side note, I was kind of surprised that David Kaye played the voice of Clank. Some people (myself included) might know him better as the voice of countless cartoon characters, including Megatron in most of the Transformers series since Beast Wars.

Just a quick update. I am about half way through the last level in Rachet and Clank. Whether I finish it tonight, I don't know, but I got the last of the Golden Bolts.

Now back to saving Veldin

Holy Crap On A Stick!

Like I said earlier in the day, I am almost done with Ratchet and Clank, and I really wanted to get the RHYNO launcher before I finished the game. Fortunately Game Faqs has a list of Bolt Tricks I tried the third one for the Rilgar Hoverboard track and , using the corner of my PS2 to weight down the circle button. That was around 1 yesterday. the plan was to stop when I went to bed. Well I forgot. I just realized that it was on still. I'm up to about 1,669,500 bolts. Supernatural is on right now, so I think I will let it keep going till that is over and head to Veldin after it is over. Making a pit stop to pick up the RHYNO launcher of course :)

Update I just took the controller from under the PS2 and I currently have 1,712,617 bolts. Time for me to get a small nuclear device :)

Ratchet and Clank--Kalebo III

I got to Kalebo II last night. Sorry I didn't post about it, but I was busy. I kept playing. In fact I am on Veldin right now and will be finishing the game today.

Ratchet and Clank--Quadru

I just got to Quadru. Had a little trouble getting the PDA and with the fighter battle against Quark, but I got pass them. Plus I got my new favorite weapon, the Tesla Claw (gotta love a Lightning Gun :)) I still have a couple Golden Bolts to get though, so I'm not completely done. But since the goal was to get to Quadru, and not to get everything on the way, I will consider this one done (plus I will probably get the Golden Bolts later today or tomorrow.)

Just got number 26, which is all of them I should have so far. I'll be getting them as I go through the levels from now on. It took a while, but once I remembered I had the Decoy Glove, it was easy. I just used it to distract the enemies that were attacking me. :)

I just got the Golden Bolts on Orxon. The first one was easy, just took some exploring, but the second one was tough. to get to it you have to launch a bunch of Visibombs down this tunnel then go to the other side of the map to get to the tunnel entrance. I think I wasted about 40 Visibombs trying to get it! I'm sure some LEET smart ass will say the got it on their first try, but I don't care. The important thing isn't how many Visibombs it took. The important thin is that I have the Golden Bolt.

BTW a quick update on my progress on this challenge. I have 3 Golden Bolts left. Then I can get back to playing the game.

Ratchet and Clank--Golden Bolts

well, I am now up to 5 Golden Bolts. I didn't really stop to get them earlier, but now that I am revisiting all the worlds I have been to already, I decided to get the ones I missed. Some of them I couldn't get earlier due to lack of equipment, some I just didn't get because I wanted to finish the level. As I said, I am currently at 5 Golden Bolts. I got the 3 on Novalis (thanks to some help from Game Faqs for the last one.) and with some help from a friend, I got the last one on Rilgar (thanks Christian.) Next stop, Kerwan.
